Every now and then we get some magnificent pink hues at twilight here in the East Kimberley. On this occasion, I just happened to be out in the Emu Creek Wetlands, which are behind Carlton Ridge, also known as Sleeping Buddha and Elephant Rock. Timing the weather to catch the lake on a still afternoon takes some patience, catching a perched Pelican while I was in there was pure luck.

The colours in this photo are real, there are no words when the sky lights up like this.
