This is the Ragged ranges which is an integral part of the Jaliwang Barramundi dreaming Dreamtime story.

The Barramundi dreaming story is the most significant Dreamtime creation story for the East Kimberley.

It starts at Darram(Bandicoot bar) near the diversion dam in Goonanoodum(Kununurra) and finishes at Argyle Diamond mine where the Barramundi left it’s scales(diamonds)

This is hands down the best story I’ve had the privilege of hearing from Miriwoong man Ted Hall @luridgii tours, who runs cultural tours where you can follow the Barramundi through his country.
